One plant, one press
Castor oil is thick for a reason. The seed is pressed cold, nothing heated and nothing added, so the oil keeps the ricinoleic acid that makes it so rich and cushiony. It sits where you put it and sinks in slowly overnight, which is exactly what dry ends and rough patches want.
Our grandmothers kept a bottle of this in the cupboard and used it on everything. We bottle it the way it deserves: 100% organic, hexane free, and big enough to be generous with.

Good to know
Why is this $49.94 when the chemist sells castor oil for $15?
Most pharmacy castor oil is refined at heat and sold in plastic. Ours is cold pressed from organic seed and hexane free, so it keeps the thick, glossy richness that refining strips out. Same plant, different product. Pour them side by side and you'll see it.
It's really thick. Am I using too much?
Probably. Two drops, not ten. The richness is the point, so a little covers a lot. For hair, mix it half and half with a lighter oil and it spreads easily. At that rate the 500mL keeps a nightly routine going for months.
Will it wash out of my hair?
Yes, with technique. Use small amounts on mid-lengths and ends, treat the night before wash day, then work shampoo into dry hair before you rinse. Two minutes of method saves twenty of scrubbing.
What can I actually use it on?
Packs, hair treatments, skin, cuticles, brows. One bottle covers the lot, which is why we sell it at half a litre. It's the cupboard staple our grandmothers swore by, pressed and bottled properly.
How long until I notice anything?
Honestly: skin feels softer the first morning and hair looks glossier after a treatment or two. Lashes and brows want two to four months of nightly drops. If a brand promises two weeks, they're selling the photo, not the oil.
