Why tallow makes better soap
Soap makers prized tallow long before body wash existed, because it makes a hard, long-lasting bar with a dense, creamy lather. We start with grass fed and finished tallow from regenerative Australian farms and organic extra virgin olive oil, then add lemongrass essential oil. Nothing else.
The result cleans properly without stripping. The lemongrass is the real thing, sharp and green in the steam, gone by the time you're dressed. Skin comes out soft, and the bar holds its shape shower after shower.

Is the lemongrass overpowering?
It's bright in the shower and gone soon after. Real essential oil behaves differently to synthetic fragrance: it lifts with the steam, then fades instead of following you around all day. If you want no scent at all, our unscented bar is the quiet option.
Will it dry my skin out like other soaps?
This is the reason we make soap from tallow. The tallow and olive oil base lathers like cream and rinses clean, so skin comes out feeling soft instead of tight and squeaky. If bar soap usually leaves you reaching for lotion, this is the one to test.
Can I use it on my face?
You can. It's mild enough, though most people keep lemongrass for the body and pick the unscented bar for their face. Either way, rinse well and follow with the tallow moisturiser while skin is still damp.
How long does a bar last?
Tallow makes a hard bar, so it outlasts the soft supermarket kind. Kept on a dish that drains, one 120g bar handles weeks of daily showers. Left sitting in a puddle, any soap gives up early.
Is it a good gym bag soap?
It's the one we'd pack. Sharp, green and clean after a session, with a lather that rinses fast. A bar also survives a gym bag better than a pump bottle ever will. Wrap it in a cloth or a tin and it drips nothing.
