The family bar
We make this bar the same way as the rest: grass fed and finished tallow from regenerative Australian farms, organic extra virgin olive oil, and one addition, sweet orange essential oil. It smells like orange peel warmed in your hand, honest and round rather than sugary.
Tallow gives the bar its dense, creamy lather and its staying power in a busy shower. Olive oil keeps it mild. It cleans everyone from the six year old to the sixty year old and leaves skin soft, never squeaky.

Is it gentle enough for my kids?
Yes. Three ingredients, all pronounceable, no sting and gentle on young skin. The sweet orange scent does the recruiting at bath time. As with anything new on young skin, patch test a small area first.
Does it actually smell like oranges?
Like orange peel warmed in your hand, honest and round rather than sugary. It's real sweet orange essential oil, so the scent lives in the lather and fades after the towel instead of clinging to skin all evening.
Will it dry us out?
It's built the other way. Tallow and olive oil make a creamy lather that rinses clean and leaves skin feeling soft, without the tight after-bath squeak. That's the whole reason tallow soap is worth making.
Orange, lemongrass or unscented?
Orange is the warm, easy one the whole family shares. Lemongrass is sharper, the morning and gym bag bar. Unscented is for the most sensitive skin in the house. Can't decide? The soap collection has all three for $45.98.
How should I store it?
On a dish that drains, out of the water line. A hard tallow bar lasts weeks of daily use if it dries between showers. If small people leave it swimming in the bath, fish it out and it forgives you.
