Important Notice:

  • Water Temperature: Do not use hot water for electrolysis. Ideal water temperature should not exceed 60°C or 140°F to prevent damage to the electrolyzer.
  • Water Types: Your ONYX Hydrogen Water Bottle is versatile and can utilise any drinkable water source such as purified, mineral, or distilled water. Avoid operating the unit without water to prevent damaging the generator.
  • Preventing Damage: Ensure the bottle body and generator are securely fastened before adding water to prevent leaks. Avoid dropping the bottle or exposing it to strong impacts.
  • First Use: Before the initial use, fill the bottle and initiate the hydrogen cycle. Once complete, discard the water to prepare the bottle for regular use.
  • Cleaning the Bottle: For cleaning, the body can be detached and is dishwasher safe. Use wet wipes to clean the generator's exterior without immersing it in water. The generator (bottom component) is NOT waterproof.
  • Regular Checks: Regularly inspect the connection points and the condition of all components. Make sure everything is dry and clean before reassembling.
  • Charging Instructions: Charge the bottle with the provided USB-C charger, ensuring the charging port is dry. Do not overcharge to extend battery life.
  • Cleaning / descaling the generator: Depending on your water's mineral content, you may need to clean the electrodes once or twice a month. To descale, add 1 part white vinegar, lemon juice or citric acid and 3 parts water in the bottle and leave generator soaking in mix overnight.

    Dump and rinse thoroughly with warm water before using the next day.

Caution:

  • Avoid Immersion: The generator should not be immersed in water. Wash the bottle's body and lid with a mild detergent and allow it to dry completely.
  • Liquid Restrictions: Only use drinking water in your bottle. Introducing liquids other than water will void the warranty.

How To Operate:

  1. Starting the Cycle: Long press the button for 3 seconds to activate the blue LED and start electrolysis, creating hydrogen bubbles in the water.
  2. Adjusting Cycle Time: Default cycle time is 5 minutes. During the cycle, a quick button touch can add 5 more minutes.
  3. Shutting Off: The bottle will turn off automatically after completing the hydrogen production cycle, or you can long-press the button for 3 seconds to turn it off manually.

Charging Indicator:

  • The OLED display will indicate the charging status. Disconnect the charger once the battery indicator shows full charge.
